Séance 2: Listen and speak

Voici la fiche à compléter en écoutant l'enregistrement qui est juste après:

Can Max and Ganesh surf ? Play football ? Listen and write Yes or No.

Correction:

Recap: Asking questions and answering with short answers (TE)

Question: - Can    -Max   - play   -football ?
                 - Aux   - S       - V       - Comp ?

Réponse:    -Yes, he can → réponse brève positive
                   - No, he can’t → réponse brève négative
NB: Dans une réponse brève, on ne reprend que l'auxiliaire (CAN / CAN'T) sans le verbe, car le verbe est sous-entendu par l'auxiliaire.

WRITING: Recap the information making sentences (TE):

1. Ganesh can surf but Max can’t.
2. Ganesh can surf, he can skate, he can ski and he can play football.
3. Max can draw and he can ride a bike but he can’t surf and he can’t skate.

Séance 3_ Think about it

Recap Think about it (TE)

- Pour demander si quelqu'un sait faire quelque chose, je vais utiliser: "Can you + verbe?"
- Pour dire que je sais faire quelque chose, je vais utiliser "I can + verbe"
- Pour dire que je ne sais pas faire quelque chose, je vais utiliser "I can't + verbe"

1- CAN est un mot qui accompagne le verbe pour préciser qu'on parle de ce que l'on est CAPABLE de faire ou ce qu'on SAIT faire. C'est un AUXILIAIRE.


2- Le mot NOT sert à former une négation.
Quand il est associé à CAN, il est souvent contracté, c'est à dire qu'on l'ajoute à can en ne gardant pas le "o" de not, ce qui donne "CAN'T".
Donc CAN + NOT = CAN'T (ou CANNOT)

3-  Le mot AND sert à ajouter des idées. Dans une liste, il intervient que pour donner le dernier élément de la liste, alors que les autres éléments listés sont séparés par une simple virgule.
Ex: I like playing football, reading comics and listening to music.

4- Le mot BUT sert à opposer deux idées.

Séance 7 _Read and write

Read the text on the paper slip and guess who is speaking: Is it Rachel ? Jennifer ? Chrissie ?

Lis le texte sur le post-it et devine qui parle: Est-ce Rachel ? Jennifer ? Chrissie ?

Now write 2 other sentences on the same pattern to make the other 2 girls speak about what they can or can't do.

Maintenant rédige 2 autres phrases sur le même modèle pour faire parler les 2 autres filles sur ce qu'elles savent faire ou pas.
